The two-member band nano.RIPE, known for performing numerous anime theme songs, announced at their concept one-man live “Hoshinomonshou” held at Shibuya DIVE that they will release their next full album, Hikari wo Hakobumono (Lit. “Those Who Carry Light”), on March 12, 2025.
Themed around “initial impulses,” the album will include 13 tracks, featuring 10 brand-new songs. The existing tracks will include “Hikari no Nai Machi,” the OP theme of The Devil Is a Part-Timer! season 2, “Magic Hour,” the image song for the manga Tensei Shite Inaka de Slow Life wo Okuritai, and “Climax,” the high school baseball theme and cheering song for Saitama, Chiba, and Ishikawa prefectures.
To promote the album, the band will embark on a nationwide tour, visiting nine cities across Japan starting in April. Pre-sale tickets are available now.
Comment from Kimiko (Guitar, Vocals)
With the theme of initial impulses, we carefully crafted this album while staying true to our unique band sound. We poured into it the hope that we can now share the light music once gave us. May this album contain something that lights your way.
