Sakura Index started as Sakura Beat around 4 years ago. And that time I was writing for the site, I made it a motto that Life is a Visual Novel, and everything that I do is like a choice or a dialogue option.

It’s been a long ride with us since we’ve started this small space back in 2011. We didn’t even think that we’d last this long either– my blogs usually live within a span of a year or two, then dissipate right after; but lo and behold, we’re still alive and kicking.
Yeap! You got that right: we’ve just turned 3. Though we got the URL in December, we didn’t start working on our stuff not till January. We’ve got a lot of stuff going in on the past three years, particularly the last one, since we were able to accomplish more during that time.
Space Dandy, from Studio Bones, is another title set for simulcast on Animax Asia— which will premiere on January 5, 2014 at 10pm. And since it’s a simulcast, it means that the broadcast will happen at the same time as it airs in Japan (which is at 11pm, Japan Standard Time).
With Fall Anime 2013 drawing to a close, animation studios are beginning to announce new series coming up next season. And the first one we visit is from Sunrise, showing us yet another mecha title– Buddy Complex.
The Vocaloid scene’s most representative creator, DECO*27, finally releases his self-cover album “DECOUSTIC” via digital distribution for fans all over the world!
