Lately, there has been an issue with the Google Chrome Themes published with Sakura Index.
The Omnibox of Google Chrome is showing a black color as a default, which becomes a problem for themes that have a light color or different color palette aesthetic.
This was reported by several users, and one of them have offered their own workaround for the fix.

“omnibox_background”: [ 241, 243, 244 ]
Note that this is not tested with the system’s capability to activate Dark Mode or Light Mode.
I don’t exactly know the chrome version update that brought this change, but at least it seems to be more recent since I have
The following Google Chrome Themes have been updated to version 1.0.0.4:
- Maki Nishikino (LoveLive!) – [ view theme ]
- ClariS Click version – [view theme]
I will implement the patch and update to the rest of the themes:
- Asuna: Knights of the Blood
- Mirai Suenaga Winter Uniform version
- LoveLive! Eli Ayase
- ClariS Reunion version
- Kuroneko (Oreimo)
- Mahouka
- Shiina Mayuri Theme
All the themes published here and made in Sakura Index are incorporate the idea of “Responsive Design”; which means that the elements and the design of the background should be able to adjust according to the screen width and size. We had adapted a different element slicing idea– so you should not worry if you’re on widescreen or not!
