About the Etrian Odyssey Series

Etrian Odyssey is a 3D dungeon-crawling RPG series where players select five adventurers from a variety of classes and combine their skills to search for an immense treasure sleeping within a vast labyrinth, all while creating a unique and personalized map.

The labyrinths are complex and inhabited by fierce monsters. Reach their inner depths by tracking your path on a fresh map, taking notes of any hidden shortcuts, plants, minerals, and treasure chests you encounter on the way.

Etrian Odyssey Origin Collections features three adventures with newly added quality-of-life elements such as difficulty selection, auto-mapping function, and more. Additionally, the labyrinths have been born anew with vibrant, high-definition graphics.

The Game Mechanics Have Evolved Even Further in Etrian Odyssey III HD!

“South of the great continents, beyond the sea, lies the ocean city of Armoroad.

Legend has it that part of the city sunk without warning a century ago to the bottom of the ocean, taking with it untold technology that is now lost to mankind.

Intrigued by the legend, many explorers gathered in Armoroad, all hoping to challenge the undersea labyrinth. But so far, none have found the fabled sunken city.

Set sail to Armoroad to navigate the Yggdrasil Labyrinth, find the drowned city, and win fortune and glory! Find unprecedented ruins and traverse the undersea labyrinth to secure wealth and fame!”

Everything You Need to Know About the Revamped Classes in Etrian Odyssey III HD

The Labyrinth can be challenged by a party of five members, whose classes and portraits can be chosen by the player. The classes from Etrian Odyssey I and Etrian Odyssey II have had a complete makeover! Choose between one of the twelve classes available and assign a class to each of your party members.

Each class has also been given a new portrait in the HD remasters, for a total of five portraits per class!

An Adventure Guide for Etrian Odyssey III HD! Expand Your Adventurers’ Horizons with Subclasses

In Etrian Odyssey III HD, subclasses will be unlocked once you progress past a certain point in the story. When an adventurer is assigned a subclass, they will be able to learn a second set of skills. Each class can only be assigned one subclass. Use them wisely to give yourself an edge in your journey through the Labyrinth!

You can make up for the farmer subclass’s shortcomings by combining it with a combat-oriented class or a high-agility class (like the buccaneer or ninja). Use subclasses to accentuate your tactics.

Master Common Skills and Limit Skills!

Each class has Common Skills and Limit Skills, in addition to their Main Skills.

Common Skills

Seven skills that can be acquired by any class. They mostly consist of raising maximum HP and TP, earning experience without being in a party, or giving boosts outside of battle. These skills have no prerequisites and can be obtained as soon as you have the required skill points.

Limit Skills

Skills that can be acquired after obtaining a special item. They can be used once the Limit Gauge has been maxed out from performing actions in battle. Each skill can be equipped to a number of adventurers and their effects range from powerful attacks to recovery and support. Limit Skills can quickly turn the tides of a battle, so learn to use them effectively!
