SEGA Corporation is currently holding the Super Phantasy Festival in its popular game PSO2 New Genesis ver. 2 (“NGS ver.2”) to celebrate the 12th anniversary of the launch of Phantasy Star Online 2 (“PSO2”).
NGS ver.2 also implemented a variety of updates on 7/10/2024 (Wed), including the addition of Line Strike.

Celebrating PSO2’s 12th Anniversary, the Super Phantasy Festival has been underway since 7/2/2024 (Tue).
In addition to Ultra PSO2 Day and other phabulous campaigns such as 10-a-day! Free SG Scratch, from 7/3/2024 (Wed) a celebratory mood has infused Planet Halpha, with Central City illuminations and special decorations for Region Mags.
Ceremo Rappies, Ceremo Emperappies, and Ceremo Great Rappies can be found in each region, celebrating PSO2’s 12th Anniversary along with us.

■ New content: Line Strike
Line Strike is a new addition to NGS where you can enjoy card battles against other players and NPCs.
There are various battle modes in Line Strike. Ranked Battle lets you compete against players at a similar skill level, while Unranked Battle lets you jump into a game without worrying about your rating. NPC Battle is perfect for testing your skills, and you can use Free Battle to compete directly against an opponent of your choice.
You can also watch other players battle and use replays to study your own previous matches.
At the start of the match, your and your opponent’s ARKS IDs are displayed to liven up the competition. You can use registered Card Sleeves and Play Mats for your own deck and board on the Line Strike battle screen. Enjoy Line Strike on your favorite battle screen.
To get started with Line Strike, talk to the NPC Victoria in Central City. She’ll tell you all about it! Take on Victoria’s Side Task to learn the basic rules of the game.
Complete the added Limited-time Tasks and Title Tasks to earn Card Scratch Vouchers. Collect new cards to enhance your deck.
In conjunction with the release of Line Strike, the new Build Part: Line Strike Playing Board is also making its debut. This Build Part has a unique gimmick where a Line Strike battle launches when two players sit down at it. Show that you want to play by having a seat in one of the chairs and waiting for an opponent to join you. It’s available in two colors, red and blue, so put one in your Creative Space and enjoy some Line Strike battles.
We also have a new Official Creative Space with lots of this Build Part set up. It’s the perfect place to meet up with friends and find opponents for a match.
