March 4, 2025 – SEGA is proud to announce that the Asia edition of Aniplex’s Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 is coming out on August 1 for PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Nintendo Switch™, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Steam.
In addition, the key visual, newly drawn by ufotable, has been released as well as a new promotion video.
Furthermore, pre-orders for the digital editions on PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam are now open!
*The release date for the Steam version is August 6, 2025.

Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles is an arena fighter based on the April 2019 anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. The game, which launched on October 14, 2021, was developed by CyberConnect2 and produced by Aniplex, with Aniplex (*1) and SEGA publishing it in Japan and overseas, respectively. Additional playable characters were continuously released through free updates, and the paid downloadable content Entertainment District DLC pack was sold over the course of five installments.
The game was met with critical acclaim and surpassed 400 million unit sales (*2) worldwide.
