February 20, 2025 – SEGA has revealed details about key characters, Drink Links, and the Goro Kingdom in Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, which launches on February 21, 2025, for PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows, and Steam.

When he catches wind that Majima was caught in a shipwreck and went missing in Hawaii, he sets out on a solo trip—determined to bring Majima back home.

When he was younger, he was known for his love of karaoke and could often be seen carrying a mic and bursting into song around Kamurocho. He accompanied Majima and Nishida to Hawaii, but the three were separated after an accident at sea.

Though he seems helpless and unreliable, Nishida has overcome many ordeals, such as defusing bombs around Kamurocho with Majima in 2006. Perhaps as a result of putting up with Majima’s antics for years, he has no qualms about rebutting Majima’s outlandish remarks.

A handy tool for exploration and acquiring items. Typically, a sidearm for battle, you can also use the chain hook around town! If you fire at hook points, Majima can make huge jumps to otherwise impossible-to-reach locations or obtain valuable items! The chain hook is also handy for catching bugs and fish for cooking.

Order up! Chef Majima is here to cook the dishes of your wildest dreams! You’ll find an assortment of cooking ingredients during voyages and around town! Each dish calls for a different cooking method, including Breathing Fire, Slicing and Dicing, and Begone Scum. They also have differing special effects, such as Health Recovery and Heat Recovery!

 

 

– Safehouses

 

 

Your bases of operation. As you progress through the Main Story, you’ll unlock different safehouses. Stop by to heal, customize Majima’s outfits, use the Item Box, and access many other features. You can even replay conversations with your crew members at certain safehouses.

 

– Making Equipment

 

 

Create the best gear at Julie’s Gearworks! Gather materials and bring them to Julie’s Gearworks in Hawaii to craft cannons, rings, and more. The powerful items you can make here can’t be obtained anywhere else, so stop by whenever you have enough materials!

 

A Safe Haven for Animals

 

 

An animal sanctuary Majima establishes on Rich Island. You can keep any animals you rescue during your journey here!
Find many animal companions, nurture them well, and turn the Goro Kingdom into a cozy paradise!

 

– Animal Rescue

 

 

Throughout Hawaii, you’ll find animals that are hungry or in distress. If you give them a hand, they’ll become fond of Majima and migrate to Rich Island.

 

– Feeding

 

 

If you feed treats to the animals in Goro Kingdom, they’ll reward you with various cooking ingredients, such as meat and fish. Take good care of them, because animals who become attached to you may even join the Goro Pirates!
