February 17, 2025 – SEGA has unveiled the first chapter in a new series about Majima’s history, setting the stage for Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, which launches on February 21, 2025, for PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows, and Steam.

Get ready for Majima’s first-ever solo adventure with The History of Goro Majima—a series of videos highlighting his past. The narration of the video is provided by Ayumi Tanida, who plays the role of Rodriguez in Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii.
In the first chapter, learn how Majima earned his moniker, the Mad Dog of Shimano, and became the man he is today!
The series has three chapters, with a new video released daily, so stay tuned!
