STORY
The protagonist is a student who transfers to Gekkoukan High School, an establishment located on Tatsumi Port Island. A few days after moving into the dorm, they are attacked by a mysterious monster which causes their latent Persona abilities to awaken. The incident leads them to join the school’s Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad (SEES), an organization comprised of fellow Persona users. Together, they seek to unravel the mystery surrounding their world.
Hidden between one day and the next is an interval of time known as the Dark Hour. During this period, frightful beings called Shadows roam the streets.
As the toll begins to mount, the SEES must uncover the root of the mystery and rid the world of Shadows before it’s too late…
MAIN CHARACTERS
• Protagonist (voiced by Akira Ishida)
A second-year high school student who transfers to Gekkoukan High in the spring. They used to live in the area as a child, and this move marks the first time they’ve returned in almost a decade. After suddenly awakening their first Persona, Orpheus, they join the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad (SEES). They are the only person capable of summoning multiple Personas.
• Yukari Takeba (voiced by Megumi Toyoguchi)
A second-year student at Gekkoukan High and the protagonist’s classmate. Yukari is quite popular among her peers due to her cheerful personality and gorgeous looks, but she also has a determined and stoic side to her as well.
Despite having been a member of the SEES, she has little combat experience. She only decides to stop taking a back seat after fighting off a Shadow with the protagonist. As a archery team member, Yukari wields a bow during battles. Her Persona, Io, specializes in wind attacks and healing skills.
• Junpei Iori (voiced by Kosuke Toriumi)
A classmate of the protagonist and Yukari. Junpei awakens his Persona powers shortly after the protagonist transfers to Gekkoukan High. He then moves into the school dorm and joins the SEES.
He has an outgoing personality and is good at lightening the mood but tends to get carried away, much to the annoyance of Yukari.
Junpei wields a large, two-handed sword during combat. His Persona, Hermes, specializes in fire attacks and dealing physical damage.
