What’s more, Puyo Puyo™Tetris®2S introduces Puyo Tetris Doubles, where two friends can play on the same board! Battle it out in either Puyo Puyo or Tetris, or even Puyo Puyo vs Tetris for the ultimate showdown! Play solo or with up to 3 others both online and offline.
New Mode: Puyo Tetris Doubles
In this new two-player mode, work together on the same board to move the falling Puyo Puyo or Tetriminos as they fall simultaneously. Watch them stack and aim to make the biggest chain you can!
Use the New Joy-Con™ 2 Controller Like a Mouse!
Take advantage of the new Nintendo Switch 2 Joy-Con 2 controllers, which can function like a mouse for quick movement, so you can focus on stacking your Puyos and Tetriminos! Spectators joining in on the action locally can also use their Joy-Con 2 controllers to point on the players’ board to provide suggestions, show support, and join in on the mayhem! Brush Up on the Basics or Jump Into Online Games with Others
Tune into Lessons mode to learn all the essentials—basic controls, chaining and stacking.
Alternatively, play online to compete with up to 3 others from around the world. If you’re up for the challenge, step into the Puzzle League to test your skills in Puyo Puyo and Tetris. Each game features its own online ranking system. Other online modes include Boss Raid, where the same rules as Skill Battles apply. Team up with up to three players to face off against bosses!
