Rare Concert Footage of the YOKO KANNO SEATBELTS-cover

Footage from the live concert “SOUVENIR OF TOKYO,” held by the YOKO KANNO SEATBELTS in August 2001, will be gradually released on the FlyingDog YouTube channel starting November 22. This is the only official footage of the concert and was originally included in the 2001 DVD release FUTURE BLUES (all five songs). The 8mm film captures the performances by Yoko Kanno and a lineup of top-tier musicians, preserving the raw energy and atmosphere of the live event. The footage, even 23 years later, conveys the intense excitement of that night, making it a must-watch for every music fan.

Additionally, the YOKO KANNO SEATBELTS have been confirmed to perform at the Montreux Jazz Festival Japan 2024, which will be held at Pia Arena MM in Yokohama from December 6 to 8. They are scheduled to appear on December 6 and 7.

The Montreux Jazz Festival, which has been held for more than half a century, is one of the world’s largest and most prestigious music events, featuring performances by musicians across all genres. Its Japanese counterpart, the Montreux Jazz Festival Japan 2024, is also shaping up to be a highly anticipated event.
