April 9, 2025 – SEGA is excited to announce that Sonic Rumble officially launches on May 8, 2025 for iOS, Android, Google Play Games, and Steam.
New Launch Features
The game will introduce major gameplay changes, bringing new layers of depth to each match. Characters will have access to Skills that can be freely assigned, allowing you to tackle challenges in various ways. Each character has unique Skills and multiple Skill Slots available, so explore different combinations and find the playstyle that best suits you!
On top of that, Squad Battles are coming to the game at launch. In these team-oriented matches, players must work together, devise strategies, and overcome a range of obstacles. Look forward to Squad Battles and Skills when the game comes out on May 8!
Pre-Registration Campaign Underway!
With over 900,000 users pre-registered for Sonic Rumble, players are set to receive 5,000 Rings, a Chao Happy Sticker, the Crystal Chao Buddy, and the Garnet Knuckles Skin at launch! Additionally, if the number of sign-ups reaches the next milestone, players will unlock an exclusive Movie Sonic Skin. Everyone who signs up will receive these rewards when the game releases, so make sure you pre-register today!
Details about future updates and the Creator Program, a special system with exclusive perks for content creators, will be announced at a later date. Keep an eye out for further announcements!
