Sound Source for “Shikairo Days” Intro Loop Video Posted to Social Media Platforms! (Press release)

“Shikairo Days” is the opening theme song of the TV anime My Deer Friend Nokotan, a girl-meets-deer story that began airing a few days ago (7 July 2024 in Japan).

On May 28, a “Shikairo Days” intro loop video was posted on X and YouTube. This video features the tongue-twister-like Japanese title of the anime, “Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan,” being repeated 1,000 times over one hour against a guitar riff and drums. This catchy repetition creates an earworm effect that helps viewers memorize the title. The video attracted significant attention, and by June 21, it had amassed 4 million impressions on X and over 4.2 million views on YouTube.

In response to this success, it was decided to post the sound source for the loop video on all social media platforms, starting with TikTok on June 28, ahead of the anime’s release. This allows social media users to create videos and content using the sound source, further boosting excitement for the series.

The quirky premise of this anime and the highly addictive nature of the music make it a must-see. Keep an eye out for it!
