September 20, 2024 – SEGA is thrilled to announce that Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble on Nintendo Switch™ has released two SEGA pass Downloadable Content（DLC）characters and customization items.
SEGA Pass DLC Characters Axel and Beat Cruise into the Rumble!
SEGA Pass DLC characters Axel and Beat have joined the roster of playable characters!
The DLC and customization items are available through the Digital Deluxe Edition or as a separate purchase. Each character in the SEGA Pass can also be bought individually.
Playable Characters
Stylishly race your way around as Axel and Beat! Both characters can be used in Adventure Mode and Battle Mode.
Axel（Crazy Taxi）
As Axel, you’ll be picking up Coins instead of Bananas!
Beat（Jet Set Radio）
Pick up Spray Paint Cans instead of Bananas as you skate your way through each stage.
DLC Customization Items
15 customization Items inspired by iconic SEGA characters like Shadow the Hedgehog, Goro Majima, Gilius, Akira Yuki, and NiGHTS will appear.

Content from the SEGA Pass will be released gradually after the launch of the game and continue until March 31, 2025.
You will need to update the game to the latest version to use these characters.
DLC characters from the SEGA Pass cannot be customized using style items.
Only the 7 default characters can use them.
