September 18, 2024 – SEGA is thrilled to announce that Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble on Nintendo Switch™ has released a new Battle Mode and new stages.
Scramble for Treasure in the New Gem Heist Mode!
Players will split into two teams and compete for the gems scattered across the stage in this new Battle Mode, complete with stunning visuals!
Collect more gems than your opponent and safely carry them back to your base to win! You can even steal some from the other team’s stash! Coordinate with your teammates to hinder your opponents while rolling in the gems. With two new stages to play on, this mode can be enjoyed either solo or with friends.
Duke it Out in the New Twinkle Arena Stage!
A neon-lit stage above a sprawling metropolis.
Here, you’ll be searching for sparkling gems with a dazzling night sky in the backdrop, though be sure to watch where you’re rolling! If you fall off the moving platforms, you might find yourself stuck. As time passes, it becomes easier to return to base—but more obstacles will appear!
Plunge into Battle at the Ocean Palace!
A sea-themed stage set in the palace of a lost kingdom.
Search for gems by the statues of the sea monkey king and his subjects! Expertly Spin Dashing on the ramps will help you collect the gems on top of the pedestals. Watch out, though—the stage’s layout gets more complicated, and it becomes harder to reach the bases!
