COMMEMORATING THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE SERIES
J-LEAGUE
Partnerships have been formed with various soccer clubs, competitions, unions, and leagues, allowing players to become managers of over 1,000 teams in more than 50 countries. A license agreement has finally been reached with the J-League for this game. The Meiji Yasuda J1 League, J2 League, and J3 League will be added to FM24, along with official logos, kits, and player photos of all 60 clubs for the 2023 season.
IMPROVEMENT OF SET PIECES
Set pieces are an essential element in every soccer match and every manager’s tactical approach. In FM24, set pieces have been enhanced even more when compared to the previous series. The introduction of a set piece coach and a revamped set piece creator contributed to this improvement.
Furthermore, a new concept called Set Piece Familiarity has been introduced, which is reflected in the training routines that players engage in. By deepening their understanding, players can better implement their set-piece philosophy.
UPGRADED MATCH ENGINE
This latest version introduces a wide range of enhancements, including significant improvements to player behaviors, from improved off-the-ball movements to incorporating positional play into tactics through rotations.
Furthermore, ball physics has been made more realistic, considering factors such as temperature and the altitude of the stadium, which affect the ball’s movement. As a result, the game has evolved to provide a more authentic and immersive experience.
