Details on DLC Vol. 1 and a New Trailer Released
July 29, 2024 – SEGA (Headquarters: Shinagawa, Tokyo; President and COO, Representative Director: Shuji Utsumi) is pleased to announce that Cygames (Headquarters: Shibuya, Tokyo; President: Koichi Watanabe) will be releasing Umamusume: Pretty Derby – Party Dash, a party action game developed by Arc System Works Co., Ltd., for the Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®4, and Steam® on August 30, 2024. Customers are now able to pre-order the game on the PlayStation™Store, and view game details on Steam®. Additionally, Cygames has announced the Umamusume who will be available in Vol. 1 of the DLC and has published a new trailer for the game. SEGA will be the main distributor for the physical edition in Asia (Nintendo Switch™).

What is Umamusume: Pretty Derby – Party Dash?
The Umamusume Spring Fan Fest is about to begin! Tracen Academy‘s time-honored festival will play host to a very special event this time—the Slapdash Grand Prix. Pick a team from a pixelated roster of fan favorite Umamusume and conquer all four events to take home the trophy!
Slapdash Grand Prix
The Slapdash Grand Prix is a special collection of four zany events hosted at Tracen Academy’s annual Spring Fan Fest. The Grand Prix consists of Hurtling Hurdles, Blazing Baskets, Dodgeball Demolition, and Gourmet Gauntlet. Players will select a pixelated Umamusume from their team for each event and aim for the gold!
Four Exhilarating Events
Hurtling Hurdles
Be first to fly through school and city! This obstacle course sees players aiming for the lead while running not only on the academy grounds, but also through school facilities, the neighborhood shopping district, and even private homes.
Blazing Baskets
In this 4-person basketball free-for-all, players compete for control of the ball to shoot at an array of shifting baskets while using helpful items and dodging stage hazards.
Dodgeball Demolition
Players will take advantage of special shots in this dodgeball battle royale. The last one standing takes the gold!
Gourmet Gauntlet
Players will team up with an eater Umamusume and serve them as much food as possible to attain gourmet glory! Special skills and dish combos will allow players to rack up the points they need to win.

DLC Vol. 1 – Team Iris
Cygames has announced that five new Umamusume will join the fray as part of “Team Iris” in Vol. 1 of the planned DLC. The members of Team Iris are Duramente, Cheval Grand, Sounds of Earth, Satono Crown, and Royce and Royce.
The characters joining the game as part of DLC Vol. 2 and Vol. 3 will be announced at a later date.

Gold Ship Details Game in New Trailer
Cygames has released a new trailer for Umamusume: Pretty Derby – Party Dash. Watch the trailer to see both Gold Ship, self-proclaimed PR chief for the Umamusume: Pretty Derby franchise, and race caster Misato Akasaka detail various aspects of the game. These include the brand-new “Golshi’s Grand Adventure 2” mode, the four events, and “Clubroom Mode.”
